Donna Haynes Counselling & Psychotherapy
Be curious. Be aware. Be empowered
About Me

I qualified as a counsellor in 2006 and have many years experience supporting clients to work through difficult times.

I understand that admitting we are not coping and talking about issues that are painful such as conflict, loss, trauma, anxiety and depression can be really difficult; so I provide a warm, empathic and non-judgemental therapeutic space that will hopefully feel safe enough for you to open up so we work effectively together.
My goal is to help empower you to seek solutions and work through whatever issues are impacting your life, relationships and sense of wellbeing. I’ll ask you to be curious as you explore the areas in your life that you are not comfortable with, which will increase your self-awareness and personal growth. I will help equip you with the tools you need, that you can draw on even after our therapy has concluded.
I work in an integrative and holistic way which simply means I draw on a range of therapeutic interventions that will help you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
I offer short or long-term and couples therapy. My specialism is working with trauma and supporting survivors of sexual violence; which I currently do working in a Rape and Sexual Abuse Charity alongside, being a qualified mediator and seeing clients in private practice.
